Stand-up comedian Utsav Dixit arrested for rash driving and Porsche crash in Hyderabad

Stand-up comedian and businessman Utsav Dixit was arrested on Sunday in connection with the road accident involving a Porsche at KBR Park in Hyderabad, the city police said.

Banjara Hills resident Utsav Dixit (33) was allegedly driving his car. He hurriedly crashed into the luxury car and crashed into her to the boundary walls of KBR Park early Friday. The person then abandoned the car and fled the scene, Telangana Today reported.

Police said Dixit left home after a domestic problem and was going to distribute candy boxes to other stand-up comedians. The police took him to court under the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

According to Deccan Chronicle, an expert at a luxury car dealership clarified that accidents involving high-end cars are not just caused by the driver. He said the driver must have knowledge of aerodynamics, tires, service and vehicle performance.
