(Society)Prosecutors are investigating ‘unstable’ Timef representatives today

Prosecutors investigating the Quten Group’s large-scale deal are recalling representatives of Timef, key suspects for the investigation.

The investigation team of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office will search Wemakeff CEO Ryu Hwa-hyun and Timon CEO Ryu Kwang-jin as suspects starting at 10 (4) am today.

This is the first time the two representatives have been summoned for questioning since they were exempt from arrest on the 10th.

Along with Quten Group CEO Koo Young-bae, they are accused of stealing 1.595 trillion won in illegal sales by deceiving the seller even though they knew they could not pay the deal.

He is also accused of diverting his work to affiliates, causing losses of 60.3 billion won to Timon and 8.9 billion won to Wemakeprice, and siphoning 67.1 billion won of company money to acquire the US e-commerce company.

Previously, the prosecution had announced that they would decide whether to request a new arrest warrant after carefully examining the grounds for dismissal as a reinforcement investigation after the court rejected the arrest warrant issued against them.
