Detectives have surveillance video showing the two attackers they are looking for, but after trying to catch them for more than a year, they are asking for the public’s help in arresting them.

In the early morning hours of February 24, 2023, Williams was with her husband and children in the 4100 block of Chico Way NW in Bremerton when two men came into the house shooting bullets.

No one in the house was injured, but Williams was shot.

He was flown to Harborview Medical Center but did not survive.

Investigators say surveillance footage shows a black sedan swerving off the road at Crosspoint Academy, a nearby school, then the gunmen walking down the road, waiting for vehicles to pass, running into the house to fire shots, then running back to their vehicle and running away. We turn north on Chico Way.

“Look, someone knows who did this, this wasn’t random,” said Jim Fuda of CrimeStoppers of Puget Sound. “A 45-year-old woman with five children was killed in this incident, so we are offering a $1,000 reward for anonymous tip leading to an arrest and charges.”

Investigators believe it was a targeted attack but did not disclose the attackers’ motive.

“Nobody was talking, it was dark, they had a description of a vehicle,” Fuda said. “They saw two people get out of the vehicle and walk towards the house in the dark, but they are not positively identified, so they have some information, but could this be supported by a tip from an anonymous person who said they knew who did it?” This could definitely help solve this case.
