Driver died, 2 people were thrown from the vehicle in accident in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – A woman was killed and two others were seriously injured in a late-night car crash in Taylorsville on Saturday.

According to police, the vehicle was traveling north on Redwood Road at approximately 11:45 p.m. when it crashed into a wall on the south side of the Taylorsville cemetery. Witnesses said the vehicle then rolled and hit an electrical box until it came to a stop in the cemetery.

When police arrived, the male and female passengers were found outside the vehicle and were later transported to the hospital in critical condition.

It was determined that the female driver in the car died at the scene.

It is not known whether excessive speed or alcohol was a factor in the accident.
