Ambulance call handler denies claiming to be a paramedic

Mr Kaolski was working as a call handler for the East of England Ambulance Service and his work ID card was shown to the jury.

The prosecution said he used stickers to disguise his more junior role so he could claim to be a paramedic to women he met.

Mr Kadolski told the court he used stickers to hide personal information, but the prosecution called this “another blatant lie”.

“It’s absolutely ridiculous that you’re slapping a data sensitivity label on it,” said prosecuting barrister Anne Whyte KC.

Mr Kadolski was charged with 15 sexual offences, but on two charges the jury was told he had no case to answer.

The charges include four allegations of rape against a woman between August and December 2022.
