William and Harry’s reconciliation suffers blow as they remain ‘as far apart as ever’ | Royal | News

Phil Dampier said: Sun: “(William) was talking about their childhood when Diana took them to various charities and he had to mention (Harry). It’s that simple.

“If it weren’t for him, it would be an understatement.

“I’m afraid I don’t see this as a major breakthrough in their relationship.

“That is unfortunately as far away as ever.”

Mr Dampier, on the other hand, told the press that the late Princess Diana, the mother of the princes, would be devastated that they would not work together on a project that was so close to her heart.

He said: “I’m sure Diana would have been very upset to see what happened between the brothers.

“He would be very upset to see them become so estranged and have a falling out so badly.

“They could both do so much good for something he so badly wanted them to do, and I’m sure he’d be absolutely miserable for it.”
