Olivia Rodrigo’s funny first date question to avoid ego-driven guys

LOS ANGELES, November 4: Olivia Rodrigo shared an “oddly specific question” she uses to steer clear of red flag men on first dates. In a recent interview with Netflix, the singer discussed this topic while promoting his new music documentary “GUTS World Tour,” now available on the streaming platform. During the conversation, she also explained the meanings behind some of the iconic tour athletes, including a tribute to Britney Spears.

In a short clip shared by Netflix, Rodrigo revealed his unique strategy for spotting red flags on first dates. He always asks his dates, “Do you want to go to space?” He explained that he asked. If the answer is “yes”, he/she decides not to pursue a relationship. Describing his desire to go to space as “weird”, he elaborated on his reasoning by saying, “I think if you want to go to space, you’re a little too full of yourself.” Netflix humorously captioned the video, “See you later, spacemen.”

Rodrigo also took time in the interview to talk about the inspirations behind the signature athletes on the GUTS World Tour. Each peak has its own story; It begins with a story that reads, “We came here for the magic,” a reference to Nicole Kidman’s famous entrance for AMC Theatres. He stated that the introduction was “sometimes better than the film itself”. Another tank top reading “Dump Him” serves as a “classic tribute to Miss Britney Spears.”

After discussing tank tops, Rodrigo returned to the first date question. One of her tops bears the phrase “Pisces Princess”, which she proudly identifies with, confirming her pride in being a Pisces. She declared that the words “I kiss better than I cook” on another shirt were “true” and added that she considered herself a “good kisser” and was also trying to improve her cooking skills. The latest athlete is “Carrie Bradshaw AF,” a reference to her favorite show, “Sex and the City,” and she wore the shirt during her performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where the show was held.
