Update from Evangelos Marinakis

The Board of Appeal has rejected Nottingham Forest’s Evangelos Marinakis’ appeal regarding misconduct in their Premier League match against Fulham on Saturday 28 September.

It was claimed that Evangelos Marinakis’ behavior in the tunnel area after the last minute of the match was inappropriate. He denied this accusation but It was found to be proven by an independent Regulatory Commission and a five-game stadium/ground suspension was imposed.

Evangelos Marinakis appealed the decision of the Regulatory Commission, but this appeal was rejected by the Board of Appeal and written reasons for this decision will be published in due course.
