Coroner’s office reaches verdict in Mullins death investigation

MULLINS, S.C. (WMBF) – The death of a woman who state police were called to assist in the investigation has been ruled a homicide.

That’s according to Marion County Deputy Coroner Jim Gray, who said 31-year-old Reaven Graves died from gunshot wounds.

The Mullins Police Department confirmed that officers found Graves’ body on Oct. 27 in Morgan Court.

When asked about the incident on Monday, Chief Philip Mostowsk told WMBF News the investigation “looks promising” and that the attack occurred domestically.

Mullins police requested the State Law Enforcement Division to assist in the investigation.
