This student-led PAC’s voter mobilization effort in SD 3 is reporting some eye-catching numbers

Florida Future LeadersA student-led PAC launched this year to mobilize voters in key legislative districts in the state has been working for months to flip the seat representing Senate District 3 blue.

60% of those aged 18-23 who vote in SD 3 are women. That’s 4 percentage points higher than the share of women in the same age range statewide.

The statewide percentage of women in this demographic is 38.3%. At SD 3, this rate is 6.1 points higher (44.4%). And turnout for all voters under 30 is 1.2 percentage points higher than statewide (36.4% to 35.2%).
