Journalist Molla Celal was arrested | Business Standard

Police arrested Molla Jalal, former president of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ), in a case filed under the Prevention of Repression of Women and Children Act.

Shahbagh police station officer-in-charge (OC) Khaled Mansur told The Business Standard that Jalal was arrested from the capital’s Shegunbagicha.

He was later arrested by the court and sent to prison.

OC said that a woman had filed a case against Mullah Jalal at Shahabag police station three or four days ago.
