Witnesses sought after racist attack

We are appealing for witnesses following the racist attack in Yeovil last month.

At around 2.30pm on Monday, October 14, the suspect approached the victim outside Superdrug on the High Street, where he shouted racist comments before punching and kicking the victim.

After the attack, the victim suffered wounds on his face.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravating public order and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was later released on conditional bail.

We hope anyone who heard or witnessed the incident can assist our investigation.
