Man accused of raping and strangling women

A man has been charged with seven more sexual offenses, including the rape and strangulation of three women, bringing the total he has been charged with to 30.

Samuel Rust, 22, formerly of Boverton, Llantwit Major in the Valley of Glamorgan, was charged with rape, sexual assault, strangulation and actual bodily harm (ABH). Police said the alleged crimes occurred in Gloucestershire and South Wales.

He was taken into custody in May following initial allegations against him, which included rape, strangulation and sexual assault.

He will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday in relation to the latest charges.
