Governor Resume Ananda Bose: Catalyzing Change and Empowerment in West Bengal

West Bengal Governor Dr. CV Ananda Bose celebrates two years in office, ushering in transformation and inclusivity through his visionary leadership. His tenure saw Raj Bhawan as a symbol of a new purpose that prioritized reforms and development to propel the state towards a promising future.

To celebrate this milestone, Dr. Bose launched the month-long ‘Apna Bhaarat – Jagta Bengal’ campaign focusing on social empowerment and mass outreach. This initiative aims to instill national pride and integrate the rich cultural heritage of Bengal into the framework of New India. Famous for her proactive governance, she has tackled social issues, especially to empower women and protect vulnerability.

The campaign includes impactful programs like FILE-TO-FIELD and DUARE RAJYAPAL initiatives, where the Governor directly interacts with citizens in 250 districts and offers support to underserved communities. Youth efforts such as ‘GOVERNOR ON CAMPUS’ are central and encourage participation and skills in governance. Dr. Bose’s leadership streamlined governance, reduced bureaucracy and increased accountability, celebrated cultural diversity and promoted social harmony.
