East Legon Crash: Police Pursue Social Media Users Over Allegations Regarding the Location of Salifu Amoako’s Son

Police reminded that publishing false information was a breach of the law under section 208 of the Criminal Offenses Act 1960 (Act 29).

Police reiterated that Amoako’s son was still detained at the Osu facility.

“We find it extremely unfortunate that a tragic incident that resulted in the loss of two beautiful souls has been exploited in an un-Ghanaian manner to draw attention to itself,” the police said.
