Man accused in shooting that killed Grand Rapids mother and injured two sons

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man has been charged in a shooting that killed a mother and injured her two sons in southeast Grand Rapids last month.

According to the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD), the assault occurred on October 24 in the 900 block of Pastiche Drive.

Chief Eric Winstrom tells FOX 17 neighbors reported an altercation in the area. When police arrived, several spent shell casings were found.

His mother later defined She stars as Tracey Broyles, 55.

GRPD issued an update Tuesday stating that 33-year-old Keonte Moore is facing open murder, as well as two counts of assault with intent to kill and multiple weapons charges. Moore is currently being held in the Kent County Jail.
