WARSAW, N.Y. (WKBW) — As voters in Western New York were submitting their election ballots, I visited Cattaraugus and Wyoming County polling stations to ask voters this question: ‘What are the issues that are driving you to vote?’

“Inflation. Everyone goes to the grocery store. Everyone goes to the gas pumps. Everyone wants these costs to decrease.” Joseph Meier He said he was from Warsaw, Wyoming County.

“We have two young children at home and I feel like their future is at risk, too.” Katelyn Meier He said he was from Warsaw, Wyoming County.

“An important choice” cheryl suba He said he was from Franklinville, Cattaraugus County. “Help the economy. “I don’t know how these young families do it, because (for example) grocery shopping is so expensive and you can’t even take your kids to the fair, it’s too expensive.”

“I think not having chaos will help everyone come back together, not feel separate anymore.” Sally Dallas He said he was from Franklinville, Cattaraugus County. “People don’t even dare to say, ‘I’m a Republican’ or ‘I’m a Democrat,’ it’s ridiculous. “I hate it when people are divided.”
