It has been revealed that the hammer-wielding bandit managed to break into Ushirika Tower in Eastleigh on Friday (November 1). After gaining entry, he proceeded to a sixth-floor apartment with the help of a house helper named Everlyne.

Once inside the house, the intruder began attacking a 20-year-old maid with Everylyne’s help.

“Several valuables were stolen during the incident, including pieces of gold jewellery, an unspecified amount of cash in KES and US dollars, and four laptops belonging to the family, which were reported stolen during the incident,” the DCI said. he said.

Everlyne had joined Eastleigh family three weeks before this incident, which left another domestic help with serious injuries.

Luckily, the owner was not at home at the time of the incident; He was out with his children while his wife was reportedly in India for medical treatment.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to gather more details about the incident and the whereabouts of the suspects.
