Jury finds man guilty of killing woman during argument

NEW BRITAIN, CT (WFSB) – A jury found a man guilty of killing a woman during an argument in 2020.

Quincey Carraway, 25, of Meriden, learned his fate on Oct. 28, according to Christian Watson, state attorney for the New Britain Judicial District.

Carraway was convicted of murdering Courtney Jones, who was killed in New Britain on Oct. 11, 2020, Watson said.

According to evidence presented at trial, Carraway shot Jones after a verbal argument.

He was located and arrested on December 28, 2020, at an address on Joseph Street in Meriden.

Sentencing is scheduled for January 10, 2025, in New England Supreme Court.
