How to undo notifications you accidentally swiped?

How to undo notifications you accidentally swiped?

Boring, boring, bor-wait, what was that? If you scroll too much, the most important notification of your life may disappear. Or maybe it wasn’t, but how would you know?

Luckily, Samsung phones and Google Pixel phones running stock Android now let you see old notifications in a new area of settings called Notification History — if it’s turned on.

Here’s how it works:

  • Find the Notifications area in your settings and tap on it

  • Tap Notification History and enable it. You will now be able to see your current and previous notifications here.

You should be aware that your notification history is only saved for a limited time (usually 24 hours); Therefore, if you want to restore and want the old notification you should not wait.

While you’re in the notification settings, it’s also worth taking a look at the list of applications that are allowed to display notifications. Here you can also use the time to withdraw consent from annoying apps. The notification screen is already less cluttered.

Similarly, if you accidentally closed a tab in your browser, you can reopen the tab by pressing the CTRL + SHIFT + T key combination.
