The Man Who Impersonated a Hotel Employee and Attacked a Guest was Arrested

A twenty-nine-year-old young man was arrested this morning, accused of being the perpetrator of an attack on a guest at a famous city hotel, where he tried to deceive her by pretending to be an employee. The man was caught by State Police officers from the Tivoli-Guidonia area as he tried to walk away from an empty room, carrying a television he had just stolen. The incident started around 7:00 in the morning when a guest, alarmed by the attack in his room, called Nue 112. According to the reconstruction, the twenty-nine-year-old knocked on the door repeatedly, pretending to be a hotel employee and urgently needing to report an alleged danger: the presence of robbers on the premises. Convinced of the apparent urgency, the guest opened the door but was met with a sudden attack. A few minutes later, the man was seen by police on the street holding the stolen television. Even when confronted, he verbally attacked her, falsely claiming to be a well-known TV presenter. During the check, the twenty-nine-year-old young man was carrying a television that he had stolen from an empty room, which was later examined by the forensic police. After the procedures, the person was taken to the police station and arrested. The duty prosecutor of the Tivoli Court decided that the arrested person would be transferred to Rebibbia Prison in Rome for subsequent confirmation and implementation of precautionary measures.
