7 arrests in drug trafficking and gang investigation in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Multiple suspects were arrested after more than $30,000 in drugs and firearms were seized at a Columbus residence.

The raid occurred as part of the Columbus Police Department’s ongoing investigation into drug trafficking and criminal street gang activity. Authorities said the operation targeted members of the Rolling 60’s Crips/DBH gang, a known criminal organization.

Police seized the following items from a home in the 4200 block of Roman Drive in Columbus:

Marijuana: 3,096.2 grams (6.82 pounds), estimated street value $30,962
Spice: 19.5 grams, estimated street value $195
THC: 18.7 grams, estimated street value $467.50
Total Value of Narcotic Substances Seized: 31,624.50 Dollars
Seized firearms: 6

–Two firearms were reported stolen

–A rifle converted to automatic
