Investigation continues in Chicago after man found with multiple gunshot wounds in car crash

CHICAGO – An investigation is ongoing on Chicago’s West Side after a man was found in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds Wednesday afternoon.

Police say around 12:16 p.m., a 41-year-old man was found unresponsive in his vehicle in the 600 block of North Lawndale Avenue. The vehicle collided with a parked car.

The victim, who had multiple gunshot wounds to his body, was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

No arrests have been made and District Four detectives are leading the investigation.
