23-year-old Swindon man charged with child abuse – police

A man has been charged with child abuse and the supply of class A drugs, police said.

Lewis Morton, of Fairford Crescent, Swindon, appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court following a “complex investigation” by Wiltshire Police, police said.

The 23-year-old is also accused of forcing a person to perform forced or compulsory labor, police said.

Det Con Will Saunders said the investigation concerned “child abuse and the subsequent supply of drugs in the local community”.
