Clifton Park man sentenced to 5 years in prison for rape

A Saratoga County man was sentenced to 5 years in prison for rape on Monday

James J. Forgett, 54, of Clifton Park, was arrested in August for a crime that occurred in the summer of 2018, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office.

Forgett pleaded guilty to first-degree rape in August.

He is also required to serve 20 years on post-release supervision.
