Man arrested after burglary in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. The Lynchburg Police Department said a man was arrested following a burglary in Lynchburg on Wednesday.

LPD said they responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a home in the 1900 block of Hillsdale Road around 3:50 p.m. The teams arriving at the scene found a man in the house. After being called by police teams, the person surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities identified the man as Jeremy Brewster. He was charged with Burglary and Burglary in connection with the incident. He is currently being held without bail in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
