Suspect arrested in alleged stabbing in Northwest Portland

PORTLAND, ore. (KOIN) – Police arrested a suspect in Northwest Portland after a man was stabbed Wednesday afternoon, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Officers responded to the area of ​​2300 NW Flanders Street and located a critically injured victim before being transported to the hospital. According to police, the suspect had already fled the area.

Based on the suspect description in the area of ​​NW Flander Avenue and Westover Road, authorities located 35-year-old Zachary Kelso and arrested him at the Multnomah County Detention Center on two counts of first-degree assault.
