Married carer, 62, who had been missing for nearly three months, was found dead near his country home in Oswestry

An inquest into his death at Shropshire Coroner’s Court in Shrewsbury on Wednesday was told that Mr Roberts, of Princess Avenue, Chirk, was pronounced dead at the scene after his body was found. Police were certain of his identity after finding his driver’s license and other documents on him.

John Ellery, senior coroner for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, adjourned the inquest until February 6 next year.
