Radnor police charge Bryn Mawr man in connection with dozen burglaries

RADNOR — After a Main Line man was arrested and charged with various theft charges, Radnor police are asking for the public’s help in identifying stolen property and facilitating their return to their rightful owners.

Late last week, police charged Jeremy Meltzer, 33, of Bryn Mawr, in connection with multiple burglaries that occurred from early February through October of this year.

According to police, on Nov. 1, Radnor detectives Nicholas DeMayo and William Meyer executed a search warrant on Meltzer’s home and vehicle, where they seized more than $34,000 in merchandise confirmed stolen.

Among the items recovered were electronic devices such as Apple iPads, Google Chromebooks and MacBooks, which were reported stolen from a local school. Other high-value items, including tool sets and coolers, are among the recovered materials that have not yet been returned to their owners. These items were reportedly stolen from storage lockers attached to an apartment complex in the 200 block of Bryn Mawr Boulevard.

These items remain in police custody and the public is asked to contact Radnor police for identification and reunification.

Meltzer is charged with 12 counts of burglary, dozens of counts of theft and receiving stolen property. Following a hearing, Meltzer was sent to the Delaware County Jail after failing to post 10 percent of $250,000 bail.

Residents who have experienced recent break-ins or recognize Meltzer as a suspect are asked to contact the Radnor County Police Department at 610-688-0503 for assistance in identifying and facilitating the return of additional property.
