B'ham Police are on the scene of a life-threatening assault on Tuscaloosa Boulevard.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham Western District officers are on the scene of an assault report in the 400 block of Tuscaloosa Boulevard Southwest.

Police said the victim was transported to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened around 8:50 a.m. at a vacant apartment complex, and police believe the victim lived there with others.

According to authorities, the victim got into a fight with a person he knew and was either shot or stabbed.

No one is currently in custody.

Western Precinct officers are on scene for an Assaulted Person call.

It was learned that the victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
