New Hampshire fugitive found and arrested in Bradenton area: BPD

BRADENTON, Fla. — A man wanted on sexual assault charges in New Hampshire has been found in the Bradenton area.

The Bradenton Police Department (BPD) said they arrested fugitive David Duncan, 70, of New Hampshire, who was wanted on multiple charges for alleged child sexual assault.

The Campton, NH Police Department has been investigating Duncan since June, according to BPD. The Campton Police Department contacted BPD after detecting Duncan using a PO box in the Bradenton area.

After police received mailbox information from Campton Police, BPD said they were able to determine that Duncan had been living in his vehicle in Bradenton in September.

When police approached the vehicle, Compton Police established contact with him to follow him while obtaining an arrest warrant.

Bradenton Police took Duncan into custody after Compton Police issued an arrest warrant in November, BPD said.

Duncan faces nine charges of aggravated sexual assault.

He is being held in the Manatee County jail awaiting extradition to New Hampshire.

Police said they had no information that Ducan was involved in criminal activity in the Bradenton area.
