WBJDA will hold a mass convention

A mass meeting is being organized by the West Bengal Junior Doctors Association (WBJDA) today, Saturday, November 9, to demand the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the central agency dealing with the rape-murder of the postgraduate trainee on August 9. Doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital (PGT), submit the final pay slip as soon as possible.

The horrific incident sparked protests across the country, especially from the medical community. The protests have subsided but continue in Kolkata. The Supreme Court is also hearing the case.

It was stated that WBJDA intends to request the expedited trial process as well as the submission of the final charge sheet. IANS.

It is worth noting that today, November 9, three months have passed since the incident.

“It has been many days since the CBI took over the investigation. However, no progress has been made in their investigations into the matter,” said an official of the association. IANS report.

“So our main demands in the proposed mass meeting will be the speedy submission of the final chargesheet by the CBI so that the trial process in the case can be initiated as soon as possible,” the office bearer said.
