Two Florida women arrested for allegedly killing one of the women’s missing boyfriends

A. florida woman She was arrested in connection with the alleged murder of her boyfriend, who disappeared several times earlier this month.

Authorities issued arrest warrants for 30-year-old Caylen Deller and 56-year-old Tina Marie Lee-Ellis on Thursday.

Putnam County Police Chad Mullen, 53, was likely last seen alive on Sept. 9 and reportedly traveled with Deller, with whom he had an occasional relationship, near Deller’s workplace.

The women were arrested after Mullen’s body was found following a tip in Florida.

Mullen was first reported missing by her family on September 15, after she missed her brother’s house. Wedding in Texas.

“We were supposed to go to Texas to be with our family. That’s when I said, ‘Okay, this is real,'” Chad’s daughter Hollie Mullen told News4JAX. “It was incredible at first. And I was like, ‘He’s going to come back.'”

The body was discovered by a mechanic/equipment operator in a field off the side of a rural road, about a quarter mile from the Putnam County line. The man said he noticed an unusual mound of dirt, which led to the discovery.

“We found him probably 20 to 25 feet from the edge of the road toward the front yard of the property,” Robert Rash said. Action News Jax.

“Just the location of the pile didn’t make any sense because there’s no road going through there. There’s no drainage going through there,” Rash said.

Lee-Ellis turned himself in Thursday evening and was charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.

Deller was arrested in Volusia County and charged with first degree planned murder with a firearm.

The investigation is still ongoing. Authorities say it’s still unclear how long the women have known each other.
