EPL: ‘One of the best players’ – Fulham boss pleased with Iwobi’s impact

Fulham manager Marco Silva explained the importance of Alex Iwobi to the team’s development this season.

The Whites rose to eighth place in the Premier League by defeating Crystal Palace 2-0 away on Saturday.

Iwobi provided the assist for Harry Wilson’s second goal.

The Nigerian player has scored two goals and recorded two assists for the London club so far this season.

“He (Wilson) is doing the right things. He’s not doing anything wrong not to start. He is also competing against very good players,” Silva said at the press conference after the match.

“Alex, for example, is one of the best players so far, if not the best this season. “He’s been very, very fantastic from the first day of pre-season,” Silva said after the match.
