Government vehicle driver fined – FBC News

A government vehicle driver who was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol has been charged with operating a motor vehicle over the prescribed limit.

Police had earlier said that Nasinu Police officers stopped the government vehicle in Makoi town of Nasinu.

The driver was arrested and detained, where he was tested and found to have violated the established limit.

The driver will appear in the Criminal Court of Peace on December 17.
