Mercer County woman charged in child’s death

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) – A Mercer County woman is behind bars after being charged in the death of a child.

Robyn Lake Defibaugh, 27, was arrested Saturday and charged with child neglect resulting in death.

Defibaugh was incarcerated in the Southern Regional Jail under a $100,000 surety/cash bond.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in Mercer County Magistrate Court.
