Sun City Center homicide sparks HCSO investigation

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is investigating a homicide that occurred late Sunday night in Sun City Center.

HCSO received reports of shots fired in the 7200 block of Camp Island Boulevard on Nov. 10 around 10:43 p.m.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed that a group of people gathered in front of the community center and a fight resulted in the man being shot.
