Suspects wanted for theft and vandalism in DC

At least two suspects are being sought in a series of thefts and vandalism that occurred Sunday morning in D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Calls regarding incidents came in between 5:10 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. Vandalism, Pennsylvania Ave. It was the first reported incident to occur at a bar in the 1400 block of SE. Police said the front door window, which was large enough to fit one person, was broken. When the teams arrived, they could not find anyone inside.

Over the next hour, three burglary calls came in between the 4500 block and the 5100 block of MacArthur Boulevard NW.

The front door of a liquor store was broken into and an ATM was reported stolen, according to authorities. It was reported that the door glass of a market was broken. The safe and money were taken from the store.

The third reported burglary was in an office building where the front door glass was broken and a safe and computer were stolen, according to the report.

Police said two of the suspects and the car used were caught on camera.

Anyone who can identify these suspects and/or the vehicle is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or the SMS Tip Line at 50411. The police ask that no action be taken against the suspect.
