Danbury police searching for driver after motorcycle crash

DANBURY, Conn. (WFSB) — Police are searching for the driver involved in a motorcycle crash that occurred on November 2nd.

Danbury Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a moped at 8:46 p.m. On Padanaram Road.

The operator of the motorcycle sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Danbury Hospital’s Emergency Department for treatment.

Following the crash, Padanaram Road was closed in both directions for several hours to allow the Police Department Accident Investigation Team to investigate the scene.

The Crash Investigation Team is seeking information about a dark colored, 2-door Jeep Wrangler that may have been involved in the incident.

Police are also asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the vehicle to come forward.
