Walsall woman charged with multiple burglary offenses

Sara Woodward, 28, of Coseley, is charged with 19 counts of shoplifting between June 18 and October 15 this year.

He appeared before Walsall Magistrates’ Court last Thursday and will appear next year.

Walsall Local Police Area (LPA) recently launched Operation Marigold in a bid to tackle burglaries in the borough.

Neighborhood officers regularly work with businesses to combat shoplifting.

A new troubleshooting team is now also working to resolve issues at Walsall LPA.

Issues include shoplifting, anti-social behavior and investigating civil intervention orders to prevent further crime and reduce crime in our communities.
