Silver Alert issued for 79-year-old woman with dementia who went missing in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 79-year-old woman with dementia.

Irena K. Kaminska, of Milwaukee, was last seen as a pedestrian around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of North 25th Street in Milwaukee’s Avenues West neighborhood.

Kaminska is white, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighs approximately 155 pounds. She has shoulder-length gray or partially gray hair in a ponytail. Kaminska was last seen wearing a green winter jacket with a fur hood, black long pants and black-and-white tennis shoes.

Silver Alerts are issued for elderly people who are missing and are believed to have dementia or another cognitive impairment.
