Four inmates facing murder charges accused of stabbing and killing man in Louisiana prison

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Four inmates at the Dixon Correctional Institution have been charged with murder following the stabbing of another inmate.

Joseph Constance, 29, according to 20th District Court District Attorney Sam D’Aquila; Terrell Holmes, 32; Arsenio Wells, 34; and Taylor Williams, 29, were charged with second-degree murder.

The four are accused of being involved in the fatal stabbing of 39-year-old Cornelius Kelly, according to the indictment.

East Feliciana Sheriff’s Office deputies on Nov. 5 reported that there was a prisonerLater identified as Kelly, he was stabbed at Dixon Correctional Institution in Jackson.

No further details have been shared at this time.
