Russia Launched an Early Morning Attack on Kiev Using Cruisers and Ballistic Missiles

In the early hours of Wednesday, November 13, Russia launched a coordinated attack on KievIt deploys a number of air weapons, including Kh-101 cruise missiles fired from TU-195 strategic bombers and four ballistic missiles launched from the Voronezh region.

The air raid alert was sounded in the capital around 6:37 a.m., and the first explosions were reported by Kiev Post reporters around 7:15 a.m.

Kyiv City Military Administration approved Air defense systems were activated in the capital and explosions were heard from many regions. Authorities called on citizens to stay in shelters until the threat subsides, as the danger continues.

Russian forces also attacked other cities in Ukraine using kamikaze drones.

The operation reportedly began around 3:21 a.m. when the Ukrainian Air Force noticed that six Tu-95MS bombers had taken off from Olenegorsk and would arrive at their launch points at an estimated 5 a.m., signaling potential threats to Ukrainian areas.

Tracking by Telegram channel Nikolayevsky VanekSeven aircraft were detected in the air, possibly on combat missions. At 6:02 a.m., four of these aircraft were seen performing launch maneuvers over the Volgograd region, but the nature of the launches remains unclear.

The message on the channel said, “If the launches are real, we expect missiles to arrive in our airspace within an hour and a half.”
