KZN student stabbed on his way to school

DURBAN – A 17-year-old student from Ganges Secondary School in Durban’s south has been hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times during a robbery.

Emergency services stabilized the teenager at the scene before taking him to the hospital.

The incident is believed to have happened near the school in the Merebank area on Wednesday.

Advance Life Paramedics spokesman Garrith Jamieson said: “At this stage the exam events leading up to the stabbing are unknown. However, all necessary role players were present and they will investigate further.”
