A father died suddenly and mysteriously, leaving behind a devastated family.

Kyle Colino was just 36 when he passed away “suddenly” at his home in Warton on Lancashire’s Fylde Coast.

His uncle, Tony Colino, said the family is still waiting to learn the cause of Kyle’s death.

48-year-old Tony told LancsLive: “We’ve already experienced so much loss as a family – grandmother, grandfather, mother and father. As a family, this has really hit us hard.

“These things were kind of expected: age, cancer and dementia, but this came out of the blue. I only spoke to him the day before, then dropped him off after we went to dinner on Sunday.”

Tony said Kyle was found “unresponsive” by his girlfriend on Sunday morning, October 13.

He called 999 and paramedics then performed CPR.

Tony said Kyle texted him, saying he needed to contact him as soon as possible, and then Kyle’s brother called him to confirm that he had died.

“I just couldn’t talk,” he said.

Kyle leaves behind his 12-year-old son, Conner, who describes his father as his “hero.”

Tony said the family had a history of heart problems but Blackpool-born Kyle had been tested and it remained unclear why he died.
