Mazda CX-60 will get sleeker materials, new paint and better suspension

Mazda has announced a number of subtle updates for its midsize five-seat SUV for the 2025 model year. CX-60. In fact, the company addressed one of the biggest criticisms of the CX-60 by revising the rear suspension. Changes include softening the rear coil springs and tightening the rear shock absorbers to soften the ride without compromising body control. While the company’s car-friendly plug-in hybrid and efficient six-cylinder diesel engine combination is still offered, there are no changes to the two existing powertrains. The latter option is available in rear-wheel drive 197bhp and all-wheel drive 251bhp forms; plug-in hybrid It only comes with all-wheel drive.

Pricing for the new models will be announced closer to their arrival here in early summer 2025; Mazda’s larger seven-seat CX-80 will also arrive during this period, creating a two-pronged approach to the upper levels of the brand’s SUV lineup.
