Tragic Stabbing in Sudama Puri: A Case of Family Tension

A tragic incident has cast a shadow over West Delhi’s Sudama Puri area as a 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed near his home, police said on Thursday. The victim, Raja Babu, was attacked on suspicions of deep-rooted family tension.

The narrative emerged when Raja Babu’s father Ganga Ram filed a complaint with the police, alleging that his son’s marriage last year, which was against the wishes of his wife’s family, had created a devastating separation. He suspects that his mother-in-law’s hostility played a role in planning the deadly attack.

Responding to a PCR call on Wednesday, police reached the spot but found that Raja Babu had already been admitted to the hospital and doctors had declared him dead. Police detected a case of murder and detained some of the wife’s family members while investigations were ongoing.
