Shropshire A* student says homeschooling has helped him improve

Telford mother Sandra said she believes homeschooling has allowed her eight-year-old daughter Beatrice to thrive.

Beatrice decided to keep her daughter at home after homeschooling during the coronavirus outbreak.

Like Ms. Harrison, she wants others to know that parents have a choice when it comes to educating their children.

“It is incredibly sad that all the wonderful teachers and schools are so constrained by budget and government targets,” he said.

“They are unable to focus on individual children and meet their needs, especially around mental and emotional health.”
