Overwatch Classic announced | End date and what to expect?

Overwatch Classic announced | End date and what to expect?

However, now for a limited time, the original game will return.

The second game will be playable in the mode called Overwatch Classic.

If you’re an OG fan, you won’t want to miss this nostalgic return.

So what exactly can we expect and when will it end?

When is Overwatch Classic available?

Overwatch Classic launches November 12, 2024.

So you can jump into 2016 Overwatch right now! It’s available on all the platforms you’ll find Overwatch 2 on (PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, Switch, and PC).

However, it will end on December 3, 2024.

If we’re lucky Blizzard will take a leaf Epic’s book and make it a permanent feature. We’ll have to see how many players flock to play!

What to expect from Overwatch Classic?

Overwatch Classic looks a lot like what Fortnite did with the OG map, but even more nostalgic.

Just don’t have original maps are brought back, but all 21 heroes of the first game are included. This means we can play as Hanzo and join Winston & his friends in the Temple of Anubis.

The original game’s gameplay will be just like before, so new Overwatch fans can experience the madness of the base game for the first time.

Only old heroes will also be playable in their original skins. So it will really look and play like it did back then.
