FWPD is investigating a stabbing that occurred overnight on the city’s east side

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is responding to reports of a stabbing on Fort Wayne’s east side early Thursday morning.

Police officers were called to the area of ​​Spy Run and Tennessee Avenues around 3:45 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.

When police arrived at the scene, they said they found a man with multiple stab wounds.

Meanwhile, police officers who arrived at the scene said that the condition of the stabbed victim was unknown and that they were waiting for confirmation from the hospital where he was taken.
